“Taking time for lunch and all walk outside means at home I’m calmer, able to hit the PAUSE button rather than getting involved in the petty stuff. I find when I take time for me, I have time for my kids. I am calmer, less stressed and home is happier!
Symptoms of stress
Symptoms of stress are when you are irritable and impatient – it is an emotional alarm alerting you to what you need to do for yourself – to take better care of yourself – yes, even if that means you have to set boundaries around not always being available.
Stress kills – so listen to your body and what it is telling you.
