Ask yourself; What have I been doing too much of? What do I need to do more of this year?
Wellness comes from balance
Taking time to reflect and setting your intention can really improve the quality of your life. Perhaps, you worked too hard, and did not take enough time for yourself or for exercise. Finding a half hour to exercise daily can make the rest of the day more manageable. Recently, a client said to me:
‘Since going back to the gym, I notice things don’t get on top of me; it’s like I keep things in perspective. Before, I catastrophised situations as I was not seeing clearly’

“When we change the way we look at things; the things we look at change”
Keeping a gratitude journal is proven to make you happier. Take a few moments every day on waking or before sleeping to jot down a few things you are grateful for. We know that happiness is something we need to take seriously and putting the focus on what is going well helps our resilience. The ratio is 3:1 positives to negatives is what we need to get by, however to flourish it needs to be 5 positives to every one negative.
